Tulio Calderón
Director at Aerospace Projects - INVAP
Tulio Calderón is presently Aerospace and Government VP at INVAP. He holds a Masters Degree in Business from Stanford Business School (Sloan Class of 2000), California, USA and a Nuclear Engineering Degree (1983) from Instituto Balseiro, Argentina. Tulio is heading INVAP`s activities in the aerospace and government areas, with several relevant projects in execution, including platforms and payloads for SAC-D mission (NASA-CONAE collaboration), SAOCOM (ASI-CONAE collaboration), ARSAT-1 geostationary satellite (ARSAT SA, Argentina) and Air Traffic Control radars for the Argentine MOD.
??Previously, as Business Development VP, Tulio led initiatives to expand, domestically and internationally, ICT and Aerospace operations and contributed to create a new business area in Security and Defence Systems. In the 90`s he worked in Market Development in the Space Division (1997-1999) and headed Instrumentation and Control Division (1992-1997). Within I&C Division, project teams had full life-cycle bid-to-commissioning responsibility in national and international projects, including protection, control and security systems for Pilcaniyeu Uranium Enrichment Plant (Argentina), RA-8, CAREM Reactors (Argentina), ETRR-2 Reactor (Egypt), Mission Control Centers for SAC-A and SAC-C satellites (Argentina).

Tulio has held tenures as Professor of Systems Engineering, Design and Technology, Thesis Director at Argentine Universities and performed advisory activities in curricula and organizational development at local, regional and national education boards and R&D agencies.
