?María del Pilar Ferro serves as Director of the Center for Special Care and Rehabilitation (CARE), as educational technological adviser for RedInclusiva (INTEC) at the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires and as Head of Practical Assignments in the field of Computational Bioinformatics and Rehabilitation for the Kinesiology and Speech Therapy Departents at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires.??

She is co-author of the books “Getting closer to the World: New technologies in the educational and social support of the child who is ill”, 2007, and “Computer Science and Dis-ability”, 2000. She is the designer of the graduate teaching program “Technologies for attention to diversity.”

??Featured as a keynote speaker at national and international conferences, Pilar is also a teacher on primary, secondary, tertiary and university levels. In addition, she has trained participants in the project “Technologies for information: Disability Employment”, implemented in Honduras.
