Guibert Englebienne

Co-founder & CTO - Globant

Guibert has an extensive experience in the information technology and communication industries. Prior to co-founding Globant, Guibert was IBM's scientific researcher and later headed Technology for CallNow.com Inc.. He also conceived and developed several US patented technologies for the telecom sector.

?As Globant CTO, Guibert leads the software product development practice and the Premier League, a group that gathers the most experienced professionals of Globant and that is focused on increasing the value added to the clients. Through Guibert´s guidance, Globant has become an expert in some of the most relevant technologies of these times, such as Social Networks, Videogames and Mobile. It has also become the first company to have specific practices around popular Google technologies like OpenSocial, Google Checkout and Google App Engine and has actively contributed with the open source communities with different applications. This expertise has placed Globant as one of the top providers in the industry. Among other recognitions, it has been distinguished as Top Emerging Global Service Provider by Global Services Magazine and has been selected by the MIT to write a business case entitled: "Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America".

?Together with the other three Globant´s founders, Guibert was selected as Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005.

?Guibert has developed his career in Argentina, US, UK and Venezuela. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from UNICEN University.
